Residential Ultraviolet Disinfection System
PureBlue Ultraviolet Disinfection System
Make Your Water Safe!!
Micro-organisms that exist naturally in water include tiny bacteria, viruses and cysts. Although local water supplies are treated by various processes, these organisms can survive in the water delivered to your home for use in bathing, washing, and of course, drinking. While other home water treatment products such as filters or water softeners will improve the taste and clarity of your water, they do not adequately protect against dangerous microorganisms. In fact, if not changed regularly, filters can even provide a location for microorganisms to multiply. Only UV is designed to provide effective, reliable, chemical-free disinfection for your safety and peace of mind. Ultraviolet light is a natural component of sunlight. Specific wavelengths of UV have the unique ability to destroy microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, cysts, etc.) in water, stopping their ability to cause infection and illnes
The PureBlue™ Ultraviolet Disinfection System uses chemical-free, ultraviolet lamps to destroy dangerous bacteria and viruses that can pass through filters and other water treatment processes. Easy to install, the system’s UV lamps are economical, normally provide a full year of service and are easy to replace. Available in several models and configurations, the System has no affect on taste, odor or clarity of the water. The basic “A” series of the PureBlue™ Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems features LED indicators for power and lamp-out indicators, and an audible alarm. Maximum flow ranges from 4 to 16 GPM’s, with a vessel weight of 5 to 8 pounds and pipe connection size ranging between ½” and ¾”.
The “M” Series features an additional range of features exclusive to that model, including a lamp output intensity monitor and status indication to meet stringent NSF Standard-55 Class A requirements for ultraviolet systems. The “M” Series has a range of 5 to 13 GPM’s for its maximum flow, with a vessel weight of between 8 and 12 pounds, and features pipe connection sizes between ¾ and one inch.
